I'm going classic...

To start off, I'd like to show you photos of my wedding dress experience yesterday, but to be bitterly honest, earlier I was tired and felt like giving up on looking for a while. The dresses didn't feel like me. I tried to fall in love, but I think I was just exhausted from it all that I wanted to "hurry the process." However, I found my strength (yes, wedding stuff can be emotionally and physically draining at times!).

I want to stay true to myself without regret. Whatever I wear, it's only for a couple of hours anyway. My sweet husband-to-be told me whatever I wear, I will make him shed tears. Oh, how I love thee! Thus, being true to myself, I'm putting my foot down and I'm going to wear whatever I want. Why is that so hard? Oh, right. All those opinions surrounding me, oh goodness. So today I am going to confess that I want to look classic. Think Audrey Hepburn, Lauren Bacall, and Elizabeth Taylor (all from my favorite era. Netted birdcage veil delicately cascading around my face, a strand of pearls resting on my chest, and a timeless gown made for my body. Oh, I can't wait. I feel as free as a bird...
P.S.
Ordering my wedding dress this October
from a very gifted and talented seamstress on Etsy.
That dress has been tugging at my heart-strings forever.
