Just remember...

Hurting people hurt people.

Today, after some hurt and confusion within my family--I finally just had to let go and place it in God's hands. When people are angry and react and step out beyond their boundaries, it's really not about you or others. Boy, I just hate how I react sometimes. My blood boils and my heart gets heated within me. Really, it's about the war of our passions--in our hearts. If you're going through some tough times with people, I would like to encourage you today. It's not about you or someone else. Most anger stems from wounds that hurt. Ever take a stab at the shoe you tripped over? I do (and I threw it across the room--my spikey boots stabbed my wall, yikes--it left a mark). It wasn't really about the shoe, was it? Anyway, stay encouraged. Take a deep breath and consider what's really going on. We ought to give others some grace if we're all human--and especially since we all step out of our boundaries at times. Here's the good news: Today is a new day and the sun may rise again tomorrow. Lastly, because we've all heard this one I thought I'd remind ya once again: Don't let the sun go down while you are still angry. Best wishes.

"A soft answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger." ~Proverbs 15:1
