I should be finishing up my essay for my history class at 2pm. It's still 11am, and I'm in the library looking out the window at the beautiful campus of Cal Baptist. I see a big green lawn with a lemon tree, a few olive trees, and Spanish-revival buildings. It's always beautiful here! I was kind of imagining what a picnic reception would look like. It's a little unrealistic, considering my wedding will consist of older people who actually need to sit straight up in a chair. Besides, who would want cramps in their legs after sitting on the ground so long? Yet, the idea won't escape me. It looks like fun, but maybe for a younger crowd? I don't want guests to drop over after they eat and sleep the whole way through, haha. Sounds great for our summer wedding, maybe we'll incorporate a few of these ideas.
I could have sworn Ben said he wanted to play croquet (however you spell it) at our reception.
