The Very Best

One life lesson that wedding planning has showed me is that nothing will be perfect, no matter how much time you have and invest to plan that special day. No matter how big or small your family is, everyone truly just wants the best for you--even if you aren't close to them. From arguments, to tears, to conversations and laughs, it all shall pass. My greatest challenges so far is making firm decisions alongside my future husband while taking in the vast amount of advice from loved ones. I have been humbled, even in my I've-already-heard-this-before-I'm-fine thought defense. Our loved ones just care about us so much to guide us, no matter how much it may hurt or make us smile at the moment. Take it all in. And breathe out, but live under the only opinion that matters--God. That is my other challenge. Living under His good opinion. I want to learn to love Him better, love people better, live in more freedom than the day before, and glorify Him more radiantly.

I'm always wondering where the light through the tunnel is.
Hint: Just look up.

It is amazing how such small details can teach you such important lessons, and it's only the beginning of our planning! Sometimes, when I feel overwhelmed by these small things in my life, I step outside to look at the sky. It is huge, larger than life. Bigger than my problems, my struggles, and challenges. That is who God is.

Dear Reader,
I have yet so much to learn and so much to do.
But God is so faithful and has each day of our lives already planned.
A wedding seems so small compared to His plans for a lifetime.

Your love, oh Lord, reaches to the heavens.                                                                                 Your faithfulness stretches to the skies.
(Psalm 36: 5)

Love Always,
a bride to be
