"We" is in the word Wedding

I got caught up in a sweet story I found online of a woman who received her grandmother's beloved engagement ring when she got engaged. It was passed down to her in her family as an heirloom. Her grandmother picked out her own engagement ring with her love before he went off to war. She was a feisty thing, as people said that he could have picked out a better, pricier ring. But, she responded by saying she could certainly do without it because she was going to marry this man either way and start a family together. And they had a happily-ever-after ending.

I really enjoy hearing stuff like this, probably because I wish I had family traditions to pass down. I think they are so special and maybe I will one day pass down my ring to a special young lady in the way future! My beautiful ring (although it really is just an object) symbolizes the love, friendship, and loyalty we share and give--as the Irish would put it! ;) I'm totally wrapped up in this story!

I'm always admiring my ring wherever I go, especially in the car when the sun hits it at just the right angle and a burst of rainbows gleam from it (that's my favorite). And when I'm in class, I'll catch myself holding my hand, adjusting it if it slides. I'm always smiling down on it. It makes me giddy inside wondering if another young woman will look at this ring and feel the same way, being reminded of the love she shares with her future husband. Just dreaming here! I won't be here forever and I can't take this ring with me when it's my time to go, so I hope it goes to someone special & it makes that person happy!
