I just finished my second year at Cal Baptist today! It feels so refreshing and so sweet. Speaking of sweet,I was reminiscing of the place where Ben and I officially became engaged. Not to get to mushy-gushy, I remember we were surrounded by pre-mature orange blossoms. The trees were all green, but I remember when we used to take walks in the Redlands orange groves. The fragrance was incredibly sweet and mesmerizing. I love looking up what traditional things flowers are believed to stand for....
"The flower symbolism associated with the orange blossom is innocence, eternal love, marriage and fruitfulness. The orange blossom, which is the state flower of Florida, is traditionally associated with good fortune, and was popular in bridal bouquets and head wreaths for weddings. The petals of orange blossom can also be made into a delicately citrus-scented version of rosewater. Orange blossom water is a common part of Middle Eastern cuisine."
