What's in a ring?

Here's a shot of my lovely ring! :)

Ben let me pick out my rings before he officially asked me if I would marry him. I originally wanted him to pick them out for me, but one thing led to another and I unexpectedly happened to fall in love with this dainty beauty from Robbins Brothers. Afterall, I only came into the jewelry store to have my ring finger measured and to be educated on diamonds (which was really, really fun!). The lady just thought he might like to know the style of ring I favored. I wouldn't have it any other way. I am such a picky person when it comes to jewelry. This ring was discontinued, so they had to order the wedding band and I had no idea what it would look like together, with the engagement ring, on my finger. It was a perfect fit. I believe there is a ring out there for everyone, no matter how tiny or gigantic it may be. Rings are a universal symbol and expression of the couple's eternal love. However, I will say, I'm marrying an incredible man, not a rock.
