Check this thing out. It's a robotic butterfly in a jar. No, it's not a real butterfly--I found it on WeddingBee.com by a woman who has a butterfly theme and was curious to know if it seemed creepy or not to use as part of her wedding reception centerpiece. So sweet, I don't think it's creepy, but I was thinking, if you're worried about what people will think, maybe punch a hole or two in the top of the mason jar. Otherwise, a disclaimer in your programs saying "no butterflies were harmed in the making of this wedding!" ;) Just kidding...
But I wish I had known about these a few months ago, a very good friend of mine just got married in April and her whooooole theme was butterflies.
