Royal Wedding Bells

You can probably already tell by my last name (that derives from England in the 1300's), but my dad's side of the family is mostly English. So, here I am glorifying my ancestor's country a little. I got my fill of the royal wedding of the Duke & Duchess of Cambridge (Kate & Will!) I cannot get over how beautiful it all was. Thankfully, I recorded it and got to skip through parts that I didn't particularly care for. And I love the Queen. She's so cute. A little sassy, but cute. I'm sure everyone is tired of hearing about the whole thing. Just wanted to blog about it a bit if you don't mind.

Her dress was inspired by Grace Kelly and her delicate bouquet contain flowers called Sweet William as a nod to her man. Her veil is mesmerizing! Fit for a princess.

I'm infatuated with all the details. Everything was enchanting. It felt like we were back in the 1600's with the choir, the gothic cathedral, the church filled with thousands, and of course the regality of it all. It was like the world must have stopped for such a time as this moment. It was nothing short of tradition. I see how much Kate loves Will by going through with this new lifestyle and honoring the traditions of the Royal family. It is sweet and very selfless. I wish them a lifetime of falling in love more and more each day.

It is beautiful how an ordinary person
can become royalty in a moment.
