Vena Amoris (Vein of Love)

The Greeks (and others probably) believed that the wedding finger on the left hand that we use today had a vein that directly connected to the heart. That is why they wore their wedding rings on that particular finger. I have a confession to make. I wear my wedding band at night while I sleep, along with my engagement ring. Yes, I know what you're thinking. I can't wear it until the I Do's. I can't help it. For some reason, I feel as if Ben is right next to me. I don't know how such objects become so sentimental to us. They just do. Anyway, just thought I'd share that with you for no particular reason. Love makes you do funny things, that are good!
