I love the Greek coronation ceremony.
It is such a romantic, symbolic act of becoming husband and wife. My name Lauren translates to Crowned with Laurel. Laurel leaves are the traditional materials used for these ancient crowns. Based on tradition, they were placed on the heads of those who brought their country victory. In the same way, I can picture marriage as two people becoming victorious together...
