I've been on a blogging spree lately!
I didn't want to exclude you on our wedding planning details, including our engagement pictures! We've just done a cute photo shoot with our amazing photographer, Joanna Pickett. We have scheduled another shoot in November 2012 (so we can have fresher photos of us 7 months before the wedding). It might sound unusual to take so many photos, but we've got two years so we might as well!
Our inspiration for this shoot is from the unforgettable movie, The Notebook. Also, we're going to try to imitate the styles of the Royal Engagement of Kate Middleton & Prince William. Now, I don't think I look exactly like her, but many people have told me I resemble her. And, my future mother in-law remarked that Ben looks like Prince William (in his younger days!).
So, I thought it would be fun to play with this a bit, with a movie we love and a couple we just happen to look like. We're planning on taking these pictures at Fairmount park in Riverside. It has a lovely little lake with ducks, bridges, huge trees, and historical homes surrounding the area. I'm already trying to put together this 1940's themed shoot, with a British flair! ;)
